uX web design
Armed with detailed information about the scope of the website, target audiences and site structure, we will proceed to design the site’s visual elements. Wireframing is the first stage of the design process, which creates a very clean and visual way to guide developers as to the importance of certain content and where it should go. Once the wireframe structure is approved we move on to a more complete visual design of all major sections and landing pages.
build
Once the layout of the site, content and design elements have been agreed upon and signed off, web developers start the coding process. The main framework of the museum website is built first on top of the content management platform. Additional functionality such as ticketing systems and online shopping are integrated into the site and linked to any offline systems such as inventory or access control. Test and all sorts of multimedia content are then added to the site.
site launch and maintenance
Once the site is thoroughly tested it is put live. The launch is normally coordinated with a variety of marketing initiatives to promote the new site. We monitor the site’s performance in terms of load speed and server performance. Once the site is launched a maintenance programme is put into place to ensure that the site is kept up to date with the latest security upgrades.
